Diane McGill

She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee August 29, 1952 to the late Dorman and Wanda Ruth Bales Beene. Diane earned her Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and had been a long time employee of Dixie Bearings/Applied Industrial Technologies. She enjoyed reading devotionals and going to bible studies with her friends from church. Diane loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and to be outdoors, whether it be a trip to the mountains or a walk on a local nature trail. She also enjoyed her walks with friends around the neighborhood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorman Boyd Beene and Wanda Ruth Bales Beene, a twin sister, Dinah Hutcheson and a nephew, Benjamin McGill.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph McGill; children, Stephanie (Damon) Triplett and Jonathan (Kristin) McGill; brother, Doug Beene; grandchildren, Sadie Triplett, Deacon Triplett, Ronnie Triplett, Landon Triplett, Isabel McGill, Avery Wood and Madison Wood; great-grandson, Kratos Triplett; nieces and nephew, Melanie Hutcheson, Rachel Thurman, Bryan Beene, Mandy (Ross) Pinfold and Celina French.

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.
