Curtis Van Russell, age 58, passed away April 21, 2017 at his home in Ooltewah, TN from complications with kidney cancer. A native of Chattanooga, Curtis worked for his family owned business F.M. Russell Co. with his father and brother for over 30 years.
Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Russell. He is survived by his parents; Floyd and Juanita Russell, brother; Kent Russell, Daughters; Kelsey (Jon) Boling and Alexandra (Ronald) Coon, and 5 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Curtis’s life will be held on April 28 at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel on April 27 from 5-7pm. Interment will be in Lakewood South immediately following services.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
