Christopher Nelligan, 19, passed away at home in his sleep on Thursday March 11, 2021. Christopher was born on January 15, 2002 to James and Denise Nelligan.
He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2019, where he made good friends and played baseball. Christopher was a dedicated son, caring brother, and loving Uncle. He was known for his quick wit and ability to always make people laugh.
A Celebration of Christopher’s Life Mass will be held at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 214 East 8th street, Chattanooga Tennessee, 37402 on Saturday March the 27th at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends on Friday March the 26th at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and the Hamilton County Health Department be adhered to. This includes “social distancing” and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.
