Carolyn Marie Martin

Carolyn worked for and retired from McKee Bakery after many years of service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy T. Martin, parents, Ralph and Lucinda Lusk, brothers, Charles; Dallas; Tony; and Sammy Lusk and a sister, Dolly.

Left behind to cherish Carolyn’s memory are her daughters, Kathy Proctor and Julia (Masa) Yamashita, grandchildren, Kristina (Josh) Elliott, Auguste Proctor, Tommy; Amy; and Skye Yamashita, aunt, Janice (Harold) Williams, son-in-law, Rickey Proctor, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday January 7, 2021 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Lakewood Memory Gardens East.

We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and the Hamilton County Health Department be adhered to. This includes “social distancing” and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.
