Bertha Gass Robbs, 102, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at a Franklin, Tennessee care facility. She was born in Dade County, Georgia to the late William C. Gass and Caldona Graham Gass. She was preceded in death by her husband Garland Robbs, grandsons Britt Morris and Scott Morris, and her eight other brothers and sisters. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ at the East Lake Church and Greens Lake Road Church
Survivors include two daughters Virginia Jo (Jim) McAlister of Nashville, Tennessee and Maxine (Fred) Morris of Ellijay, Georgia; son Edward E.(Belinda) Robbs of Argyle, Texas; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, June 16,2014 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister Reid Perry and Minister Jim Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:30-5:30 Sunday and from 1-2 Monday.
