Anne Parker, 86, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Friday March 30, 2018. She was born April 5, 1932 in Middlesboro, KY and grew up in Cumberland Gap, TN. She was the daughter of the late Van Horton and Mayola Givens Fuson. Anne graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a teaching degree, and began her teaching career in a one room school in Bell County.
Anne was avid bridge player, playing in tournaments around the world. She had the distinction of being awarded the ABCL Life Masters designation. Anne was member of the Chattanooga Bridge Center and helped drive the development of the new bridge center on Dayton Blvd.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Gibson Parker, daughter Linda Anne Parker, and Brother Harvey Horton Fuson.
Anne is survived by her sister, Emily Howard of Arjay, KY; Children, Kenneth Andrew Parker (Andy) of Chattanooga, TN Frank Edward Parker (Eddy) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Justin Parker and Megan Parker of Chattanooga and Sarah Parker of Raleigh, NC

Arrangements are being handled by the Chattanooga Funeral Home East. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
