She earned her Master’s degree in Education from Indiana University.
Survivors include her children, Jim Vaughn, Ed Vaughn and Amy Vaughn (Steve) Higgins; three grandchildren, Watson Vaughn, Ridley Vaughn and CAV Vaughn.
At her request, Mrs. Vaughn will be cremated and there will be no service or visitation.
