Ruth Ann Julien

She was born Jan. 31, 1919 in Peoria to Albert and Carrie (Greib) Berry. She married Fred Julien on July 20, 1935 in Canton. He passed away on March 21, 1978 in Houston, TX. She was also preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandi (David) Baker of Washington, two sons: Fred Julien, Jr, of Morton, Roger (Barbara) Julien of Metamora, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth was a member and very active at the Bethany Missionary Church in East Peoria. She was a great mother, grandmother, and foster mother to 32 kids.

Funeral services will be Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Bethany Missionary Church in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Remmert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

Memorial may be made to the Palliative Care Services through Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
