Rosemary Hanley

She was born Oct. 17, 1928 in Paragould, AR, to William C. and Susie (Pierceall) Ballard. She married William H. Hanley Nov. 18, 1947 in Paragould. He passed away Jan. 28, 1985 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Ann Ballard.

Survivors include two daughters: Patricia (Danny) McMahon of Metamora, Murriel (Dennis) Blundy of Washington, one son, William Hanley of Memphis, TN, four grandchildren: Jeff (Mandy) McMahon of East Peoria, Brett McMahon of Metamora, Nicole (Matthew) Thomas of Petersburg, IL, John (Kimberly) Blundy of Washington, seven great-grandchildren: Gabbi, Hailey, Grace McMahon, Hayden, Grant Thomas, Jack, Tucker Blundy, and one sister, Sue (Jim) Neilan of Unionville, VA.

Rosemary was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in East Peoria.

Funeral services will be Thursday Jan. 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
