Robert "Bob" A. Ferguson

He was born November 6, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, MO to William and Verina Ferguson. He married Gloria VanOrder on September 5, 2009 in East Peoria. She survives along with three children: Casey (Jeff) Hanuski of East Peoria, Michael Carr of East Peoria, Jeremy (Rosey) Carr of East Peoria, seven grandchildren: Austin, Caillie, Airick, Tonica, Skylar, Madison, and Sebastian. He is also survived by two brothers: Steve (Terri) Ferguson of East Peoria, Dan (Lynn) Ferguson of Dunlap, and one sister, Leola (Bill) Anderson of Bloomington.

Preceded in death were his parents, one daughter Julie, and one brother Charles Eugene Ferguson.

Bob was a United States Marine veteran. Following his time in the military, he was a Tool and Die maker for Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years retiring in the early 1990’s.

Bob’s true passion was photography; he was a professional photographer for many years. He also was a Master Falconer.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
