Norval Nib "Fred" Berry

Born Jan. 6, 1926 in Everett, WA to Victor and Alice (Hutchinson) Berry. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, George; and infant granddaughter, Miranda.

Surviving are his three children, Patrick Michael Berry of East Peoria, Frederick Victor Berry of Peoria, Deanna Sue Chesley of Washington; 10 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two sisters, Delia Stewart, Annabelle Mattock; and his Life Partner, Beverly Tillman.

Fred worked as a lineman for the I.B.E.W. retiring after 51 years of service. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater.

Cremation has been accorded. Memorial Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.
