Mildred "Mickey" M. Cochran

She was born on May 7, 1924, in Shipman, IL, to Robert and Alice (Sussen) Johnson. She married Harold E. Cochran on August 11, 1943, in Lacon. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2002, in East Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sandra Sue “Susie” Hunkeapillar; one grandson, James Brown; one granddaughter, Casey Hunkeapillar; one brother, Jerry Johnson; and two son-in-laws, Tom Hay and Charlie Hunkeapillar .

Mickey is survived by two daughters, Jean (Tom) Hay and Sharon (Dean) Adams, both of East Peoria; five grandchildren, Angie (Harold) Patterson, Todd Harrison, Shannon (Dawn) Adams, Natalie (Shawn) Robison and Jonathan (Lisa) Adams; great-grandchildren, Erika, Kylie, Austin, Sam, Whitney, Adam, Gabriel, Cole and Chase; great-great grandchildren, Olivia, Aria, Tucker and Chandler; and nephews, Larry and Jerry Alan Johnson.

Mickey worked for Illinois Mutual Insurance Company for many years before retiring. She was baptized and a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Peoria.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Creve Coeur Christian Church, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. The Rev. John Plunkett will officiate. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
