Lois J. Moore

She was born May 27, 1934 in Portland, TN to Thomas and Velma (Edens) Hobdy. She married King G. Moore in 1951 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Agnes and Ann.

Surviving are her 6 children, Randall Moore, Trudy Eggers, Deborah Pichon, Pamela Moore, Georgina Ing, Joanna (Timothy) Rennolett; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Knight; brother, Rev. Robert L. (Dorothy) Hobdy Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was an active member of the Cornerstone Church On The Rock in Peoria and was also a board member.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at The Journey Church at 118 Glen Oak St. in East Peoria with her brother, Rev. Robert L. Hobdy Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11 am Friday at the Church. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
