Lawrence Larson

He was born May 27, 1938 in Wakefield, IL to Lawrence John and Clara (Geier) Larson. He married Peggy L. Brownfield. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Jacqueline Keil of Chillicothe; two step children, John E. Brownfield of Walnut Creek, CA, Janet Weiser of Washington, IL; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years, before retiring. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the AMVETS in Peoria.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin, IL with Fr. Mark Stec officiating. Further Visitation will be one hour before Mass on Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin.
