We are all broken hearted about the untimely passing of Kim. We all hear that life is precious.  Kim was the precious life to all who knew her. Her loving spirit and kind heart will be missed by many. 
We live next door. We would always talk across the fence, sometimes daily when it's warm. When I would cook on the grill, or smoking some meat, she would always ask when will it be ready , and don't forget to let her know!! 
She was happiest talking about family, especially her girls.  She loved them, and was so proud of them. She was always excited to have our granddaughters over for arts and crafts too. 
May our Father in heaven wrap his arms around everyone during this time of grief,  and reassure us that this life is precious here on earth, but we are sure now, that she has her wings and is in his glory!

 

There are so many memories with Kim that it is hard to pick just one. I had the joy of getting to do life with her for 16 years. She was more than friend... Kim, Brian, and the girls are family. She has always been there for a good laugh and a good cry. We worked together, vacationed together,  and even lived together for awhile. There are too many memories to count. I think I would rather share one of my favorite things about her. Kim loved gift giving,  and put her whole heart into it. She would come up with the most kind, loving, and perfect ideas. I think she was so good at it because she was such a great listener. Here is a picture of her taking my son to build-a- bear for his birthday. They had so much fun and now he has this special memory. He loved her so much too! 

Our heart is heavy for the Spellious family. Our deepest condolences to the loving Spellious family.

I grew up over at the Spellious household. 
I have many fond memories of spending the night and participating in the summer family gatherings. Whether it was a cookout, playing softball, Stage 2 or skateboarding, the Spellious family all knew how to have fun! Kim, Rob and Nikki were like the 3 musketeers. The 3 of them shared a very special bond. If you were good friends with one, then you were good friends with all. That’s just how they rolled. Lots of love, laughter and good times when they are all together. 

Here is what I know. Kim was one of the best and brightest from Riverview Grade school. So many teachers and friends are proud of her fierce determination, commitment to learning and her academic achievements. She was a proud mother always recognizing and celebrating her daughters. 

Kim was an incredible person who has become a beautiful angel in heaven who will watch over the awesome Spellious family and friends. “The best and most beautiful things in this world can not be seen, nor touched but felt in the heart.” 
Knowing the family, I know Kim left a beautiful memory in everyone’s heart; which will be forever treasured. May Kim Rest In Peace and God bless the entire family and friends.

You were always a great teacher for Daymion and got him attached to you. You will be truly missed.

Myself and my family especially my daughters were so blessed to have known her and love her. She was a kind giving understanding loving soul. She was my friend and at.times counseler and always had a kind word an honest word and never failed to cheer me on. Payton and Sophie adored her and begged to go see her for a craft see kittens or just to hang out. A beautiful soul gone too soon. She will always remain in our thoughts prayers and memories. My heart is with her family and friends. Rest Peacefully my friend🖤

Kim and the girls came for a visit and we spent the day in Sedona. Such a wonderful  day and just one of the many memories I have to hold on to.  You were my sister , my best friend , a beautiful mother,and some one I love so very much. Thank you for always sharing your girls with Craig and I. I pray you are at peace and know that you are loved.

Just days before her passing, I hung this on the outside of our classroom door. I had the privilege to be Kim’s assistant teacher. She made teaching 2 year olds easy. She was always calm no matter the situation. I never questioned if she cared about the kids, teaching, or even me. She talked about her children and loved ones all the time. It was evident how much she loved all of her family and friends. I truly loved every moment working with her. I will deeply miss the light she brought to the room. I learned so much from her. Most importantly, the endless love and comfort she provided the kids with. 

Kim was a co-worker and beloved friend. I remember when Kim’s family and mine went camping with friends. Our camp family left Kim and I in charge of cooking dinner and starting a fire. It was quite hilarious because both Kim and I looked at each other immediately we both realized that neither of us knew how to start a fire. We spent about 90 minutes trying to start a fire. About the time I wanted to quit…. Kim managed to get a small flame to appear. We both did a victory dance 💃🏽. It was in the same evening that I was talking about wanting to see the Ocean some day. Kim, Krista, and Brittany’s families were all planning a trip to North Carolina. Kim out of the kindness of her heart asked if I would like to tag along on their vacation. She mentioned that their was space in the condo and that all I would have to do is pay for my meals when we would go out and any souvenirs.  I ended up saying yes and went on one of the best vacations a girl could ever ask for. Kim gave me one of the best gifts ever…. The gift of seeing the Ocean for the first time. 

To know Kim was to know kindness. I love you Kimberly and will always miss your Elmo laugh. 💕

Kim was so wonderful and my heart breaks for all of her family, friends and colleagues. I have so many ways I could describe her love and care for my boys. One that truly describes the love and calm she always brought was when, on occasion I would have to come earlier than normal and drop off in a non-familiar room  with a non-familiar teacher. One of my boys would struggle so badly. I dreaded those mornings. But when I pulled up and saw Kim, I would go to complete ease. He would go with open arms, she was simply a saving grace and a blessing to our family. She brought a sense of love, grace and comfort to all children.  She had a true gift. 

Kim will be missed for many reasons, but most of all for the impact she had on the lives of the children she cared for through the years. Sharing her love of learning and providing an atmosphere of kindness, the children in her charge always had the support and compassion they needed to thrive. For this and many other reasons, she will be greatly missed. 

My thoughts and prayers for all of her family and close friends. I hope you can find comfort in the memories you made with her throughout the years.
