John Walter Zaremba

John was born to Joseph and E. Margaret (Barth) Zaremba Sr.

Upon completion of high school John entered into the United States Navy; after his time in the service John was honorably discharged. He went on to work at Caterpillar in Peoria as a Laborer working out of UAW Local. John was a very loving person and kept his faith close with God. 42 years ago John was in a car accident which left him disabled and he has been under care since that time. John never lost sight in his faith.

John is survived by his sister, Mary C. “Kitty” Slusarek of Washington, sister, Margaret (Douglas) Dotson of Washington, and brother, Joseph E. (Lois) Zaremba of East Peoria; all of whom love him very much. He is also survived by 6 nieces, 4 nephews, and 21 great nieces and nephews with whom he loved spending time.

He was preceded in death by his parents and now has joined them in heaven.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14th starting at 9:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights.

A funeral mass will follow the visitation starting at 10:00 am at St. Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
