He was born on February 1, 1974 in Peoria to Steven and Carol (Krumholz) Cordle. He married Sherry Sanders on April 22, 1993 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, Carol Cordle of Washington, three children, Rebecca (Nick) Malcolm of Morton, Jenna (Jake) Klyber of East Peoria and Jayden Cordle of Mapleton; a brother, Stephen (Andrea) Cordle of Creve Coeur; and two grandchildren, Lincoln and Harrison Malcolm.
He was preceded in death by his father Steven Cordle who passed away in 2022.
Jeff graduated from Washington Community High School and received his CDL License through Illinois Central College. He worked as a Certified Press Operator with Capital Impressions for over ten years and then worked as a manager with Liberty Steel in Bartonville. Jeff enjoyed fishing, gardening, tending to his yard and hanging out in his Dirty Dog's Chicken Shack. He also enjoyed going to car shows in his VW Bus and spending time with his family.
Jeff had a love of cats and music and in his youth he loved to play the drums. He will be remembered for his love of communicating in emoji's, his great sense of humor, and his ability to make people laugh.
Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Norwood Mennonite Church. Remmert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
