She was born September 10, 1945 in Peoria to Paul F. and E. Lorraine (Edwards) Hunt. She married Larry Mendenhall on October 4, 1961 celebrating 60 years together, he passed away on December 12, 2021.
Jane was also preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren and one brother, Donald F. Hunt.
She is survived by her five children, Kimberly (Bill) Cameron, Lori (Patrick) Mammer, Sherri Mendenhall, Jeanne (Paul) Talley, and Julie Ellis; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lourcey and several nieces and nephews.
Jane was a woman of unwavering faith and kindness, known for her warm heart. As a mother, she exemplified grace and unconditional love, always putting the needs of others above her own. Her children were her pride and joy.
Throughout her life, she shared her faith and love for God with all who knew her. Her kindness extended beyond the walls of the church, as she welcomed everyone into her life with open arms and a generous spirit.
She had an incredible ability to make others feel accepted, valued, and loved, and her friendships were a testament to her genuine and compassionate nature.
Jane also had a passion for adventure, enjoying trips and outings with family and friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Remmert Funeral Home is assisting the family.
