Glenda J. (Gorrell) Hall Tice

She was born Sept. 16, 1939 in Peoria to Robert and Eleanor (Doering) Hall. She married Charles Gorrell. He preceded her in death. She later married Ray M. Tice in Creve Coeur on Sept. 20, 1986. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Zackary.

Surviving are four daughters, Diane Gorrell of East Peoria, Peggy Sue Stiscak of Las Vegas, NV, Kim (Marvin) Spiczka of Pekin, Sherry (Fred) Butler of Port Charlotte, FL; three sons, Billy (Lisa) Gorrell of Decatur, Bobby (Jackie) Gorrell of East Peoria, Ricky (Dena) Gorrell of Creve Coeur; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Robert “Butch” Hall; and one sister.

Glenda loved NASCAR and was a Jimmy Johnson fan. She also loved to cook, bake, sew, crafts, gardening, and canning.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with Rev. Joel Newton officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
