Chris worked for Advanced Technology Services in Peoria, Illinois for 30 years; serving throughout his early career as a Maintenance and Reliability Specialist before advancing to managerial roles including Site Manager Senior, Program Manager of Field Services, and Technical Training Manager. Chris was a true leader throughout his tenure, dedicating himself to the culture and values of the company, by seizing any opportunity to share knowledge and develop others.
Chris lived life to the fullest extent and enjoyed activities of the motorized variety. He was a fan of various racing circuits, an avid on/off-road motorcyclist, an expert mechanic, and boating enthusiast. Chris was also a craftsman of many sorts, unafraid to venture into a project of any type. While Chris enjoyed the technical aspects of these hobbies, his joy was most evident in sharing, supporting, and spending time with his family and friends.
Whether at work or home, the pride, respect, and love he exhibited allowed Chris to develop strong bonds and build everlasting relationships. While his strongest bonds were with his wife and children, Chris opened his home and extended his family values to many.
With a confidently charismatic personality, quick wit, and fun-loving humor, Chris was relatable and engaging. He was always able to share a story and teach a life lesson in a way that was wise beyond his years.
