Betty A. Jones Hull

She was born May 9, 1922, in Greenville, Ill., to Arkell and Frances W. (Tripp) Jones. She married Gerald Hull in East Peoria on July 3, 1964. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1995.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one nephew; and three brothers.

Surviving are her sister, Margaret (Glenn) Chamberlain of Sun City West, Ariz.; brother, Bob Jones of Marquette Heights; seven nephews and nieces; and many great-nieces and -nephews.

Jonsie worked at Hiram Walker, retiring as bottling supervisor.

She was a member of the Abbas Caldron Daughters of Mokanna, Eastern Star Clover Leaf Chapter, Daughters of the Nile 36, Peoria Emblem Club 121, Hiram Walker Retirees Club, and was a member of the East Peoria First United Methodist Church for over 65 years.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Entombment will be in American Mausoleum at a later date.
