Barbara "Barb" "Barb" McCelland Ramsey

She was born November 16, 1960 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Sue (Pittman) McClelland. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard McClelland.

Surviving are her parents, Robert and Sue of East Peoria, eight children, Julie (Scott) McCloud of Baudette, MN, Mark (Tia) Blair of Creve Coeur, Tracey (Andy) Sipka of Creve Coeur, Bracey Cam (Samantha) Blair of Princeville, Tamar Blair of East Peoria, Grace French of Elmwood, Chevy and Tyler Guy both of Towanda. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, one sister, Jane (Neil) Page of Peoria, Michael (Tina) McClelland of East Peoria and Gregg (Kris) McClelland of Dunlap.

Barbara worked as a C.N.A. at Bel-wood Nursing Home for a short time before falling ill. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria. She loved music, singing and church activities.

A visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A funeral service will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in East Peoria. The Rev. Fred Doughty will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
