Alvin Theodore Jennings

He was born March 31, 1939 in Pekin, IL the son of Harry Lee and Bertha Coenour Jennings. He married Patricia Hall on April 28, 1978. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2018.

Ted is survived by two sons, Andy Decker of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Kimmy Jennings of Columbia, MO; one daughter, Stacy Garcia of Georgia; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Julie Ward of Creve Coeur, and Jenni (Steve Downey) Ward of Washington; one step-son, Jeff (Lisa Platt) Appel of Creve Coeur.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Mona Jennings.

Ted was a mechanic at Woody’s Car Lot until his retirement.

He enjoyed pool, bowling and his friends, but most of all he loved his family and his two cats, Timmy and Baby.

There will be no services.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
