Steve Thomas’ life is changed, not taken away, and he now sees GOD face-to-face!
Steve was born on May 25, 1944 to Stephen and Eugenia (Vollmer) Thomas in Pittsburgh, PA and was born again in the holy waters of Baptism within moments of his birth in the one, holy, catholic, apostolic and bureaucratic tradition of CHRISTianity, for he was not expected to live. Steve entered his new life peacefully on July 16, 2013.
Steve was blessed beyond belief throughout life with his family, particularly Liz, his beloved wife of 45 plus years, and their children, Kristin (Joshua) Yamamoto, Stephen III (Hsu-Wei Shiney Chen), and Michael (Karen). Their loving grandchildren: Elizabeth, Lucas and four bonus grandsons, Michael, Zachary, Matthew and Jacob Yamamoto, Owen Thomas, Anna and Caroline Thomas; brothers and sisters, Tom (Alice), John, Thais Baker, Fr. Kevin, Diane (Tom) Miller, Mark (Sue), Jeanne (Chris) Tuski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vince and Ann Louise Vespa, Dan and Terry Dunn; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Steve was blessed beyond belief with educational opportunities, work and employment, friends, neighbors, benefactors, colleagues, associates, political allies and the CHRISTian communities. He looks forward to the second coming when we shall arise again on the last day to celebrate and thank, to forgive and be forgiven by our GOD FATHER and JESUS SON SAVIOR and SPIRIT SANCTIFIER. May Steve rest in peace! Amen! Alleluia!
