Shirley A. Ryan passed away on Monday March 9, 2020. She was born July 28, 1931, in Owosso, the daughter of Kenneth and Beatrice (Newell) Ryan. Surviving are her partner, Cheryl Moon; sisters-in-law, Terry (Jeff) Taylor and Joann Hamm Ryan; nieces, Kelly (Scott) Koerner, Tami (Jim) Glasscock, and Kim (Tim) Fritz; nephews, Kyle (Rewa) Ryan, Chris (Sandy) Ryan, and Todd (Picky) Ryan; and many grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene Ryan and Jack Ryan.
Shirley retired from General Motors following a long career in various positions. She loved all sports and was an avid golfer. She will be remembered for her love of family and her gentle, kind spirit. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.greastlansing.com.
