Patricia "Patti" Stuart DeRose

Patti attended Leslie and Hudson High Schools, and was a graduate of Paw Paw High School. She pursued a career in Hospitality and Travel prior to retiring to spend more time with her family.

Patti was a loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always eager to help her family and friends with their needs. Patti brightened the world with her smile, warm heart and hugs. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all.

Patti was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Janet R. DeRose; grandparents Robert D. Willoughby, Maxine G. Willoughby, and Phillip M. Stuart. She is survived by her loving husband, Guy S. DeRose; daughter Samantha R. DeRose; sons Matthew G. DeRose, Kristopher K. Derose, and Alexander S. DeRose; granddaughter Ella G. DeRose-Day; parents Richard G. Stuart and Janet W. Stuart; brother R. Michael Stuart; sister Paula J. Stafford (Dave); and grandmother Mary Gene Stuart.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Rd., East Lansing, with the Rev. Katherine Ann Carlson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing.
