Olive was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Colleen Stain, Rita Stain, Louise Innis, Myrtle Innis, and Norma Innis; brothers, Frank Innis and Gilbert Innis; and son, Derrick Reynolds.
She is survived by sons, Marlon Fairweather, Derrick Reynolds, Aref Mortis and Ahmed Mortis; daughters, Julia Fairweather-Ward, Deborrah Fairweather, Nadia Fairweather-Sellers, and Dawn Reynolds; 18 grandchildren, Jaime Alexander, Shanika Taylor, Charles Ward, Mia Fairweather, Faryn Fairweather, Sade Sellers, Dayshanay Sellers, Leonard Smith, Lonnie Smith, Sheena Card, Jevon Reynolds, Lenessa Reynolds, Devon Reynolds, Laissa Cook, Alessa Reynolds, Amir Mortis, Maxwell Mortis and Marshall Mortis; 15 great-granchildren, Amber Alexander, Aryn Alexander, Arick Alexander, Jonathan Beene, Keith Whitfield, Jr., Shatrail Bates, Charle Ward, Jr., Kalin Ward, Jevon Reynolds, Jr., Josian Reynolds, Lerone Reynolds, Leah-Michelle Reynolds, Dante Reynolds, Devante Reynolds and Zoey Cook; brothers, Frank Innis, Adolph Stain, Kent Innis, Gilbert Innis, Fred Innis, Michael Innis and Edgar Innis; 11 sisters, Colleen Stain, Rita Smith, Alice Stain, Erlean Innis, Sylvia Innis, Evelyn Boone, Myrtle Hall, Norma Thomas, Olga Betson and Marion Belisle and Louise Innis.
Olive attended school in Corozal, Belize until her father got transferred to Belize City, where she attended Wesley School. Olive went on to graduate from Wesley College and became a school teacher. She taught 3rd and 4th grade students at Wesley School for two years until her father, Samuel, passed away. Olive attended Belize Hospital English School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She worked as a registered nurse at Belize Hospital until she decided to move to America. Moving to Los Angeles was not easy for her, but she worked hard as a nurse for several decades until retiring. Olive then moved to Lansing, Michigan after retiring to assist her daughter, Nadia, with her children. Her life was built around her children. Loving God and family was everything to her.
Funeral service at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River, East Lansing, Thursday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
