Nolan was in my preschool daycare for 2 years before and during kindergarten. He was the cutest, smartest and sweetest little boy. He cared about others and showed that daily with his friends. His mother, Karen was a great mother who took so much pride in her little boy. Sadly, she passed away when Nolan was very young. I lost track of this wonderful child after that. What I do know is that Nolan is with his mother again and in the arms of the angels. Rest In Peace Nolan, and know that you are loved by so many.

I loved that young man as my little brother I was never blessed with. I haven't seen him in over 10 years but I thought about him a lot and just hoped he found his place,focus,drive and peace. 
He had this entire world in his hands and I liked to believe even before his passing he finally found his niche and confidence to move forward successfully and be able to easily adjust to any slight change in his goals, vision or dream and maintain a strong foundation so they could be achieved and even boasted about to his family he would be thankful for. He was funny, sincere,creative and mostly stubborn, but he would help you out of a jam or if by chance you were in a jam with him he'd give you his shirt or jacket. I call him foreman, referring to Eric foreman from that 70's show and like the rest of us he got a dumb ass when deserved. I let him punch me in the face one night and let's say I've acquired my dumb ass card a long time before that even. I'm not going to wish I said or did anything differently or wallow in coulda' shoulda' woulda' he made his own decisions as a grown man, not all of them were good decisions but he was human and full of beautiful flaws like the rest of us. I would tell him I still think modest mouse is a horrible band but like usual he would stick up for anything and anyone he cared for. Be thankful for the things you have and the things you don't and I'm not tying that saying to anything tangible. I love you foreman, I'll see you again in that other place at a different time.


I’m still having trouble grasping the reality of nolyn leaving us.   I will long for those days when we did nothing but laugh and listen  to music in his room.   Love hard y’all.  This life seems so fleeting. 

Nolyn always has and always will have a place in my heart. He never failed to make the people he loved feel special and he will be missed by so many people. I hope he found peace and is with his mother once again. So sorry we failed you, Nono. 

Absolutely heart wrenching wish i had been a better friend when I had the opportunity, wish our paths didn't ever uncross. It's been a decade or more since we've last spoke but, man am I going to miss you. My condolences to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing this gem of a young man.

Nolyn stayed with us for a bit years ago. He’d always call to check in or say merry Christmas. He was staying with us at Christmas time. He was saving to move into an apartment with a friend. . We bought him towels , dishes and I don’t remember what else … He said it was the most gifts he’d ever gotten . We were so sad for him bc that kid deserved so much more . Wish I could locate our pictures from that Christmas.  He was always funny , smiling, respectful and kind . I wish I had known his circumstances, I would have brought  him home. Sometimes the most confident people are hurting the most. We love you Nolyn . Our hearts are broken for you . Fly high and get that much deserved love from your momma …she’s been waiting.💕

I hate that this happened to such a sweet kid.  Nolyn and my son Rollie had many adventures together.  He was one of my son’s closest friends and he was also the one I worried about the most.  My heart went out to this sweet kid.  Nolyn was always so kind and considerate.  I loved talking to him about his artistic talent.  He deserved so much better!!  I’m grateful to have known him in his short life.  He’ll always have a place in my heart. 
  I like to think of Nolyn with his mom in heaven, safe, healthy and happy.   

I am truly sorry for the families loss. I’ve know Nolyn since HS and have so many memories of him. He was so artistic, creative, bright minded and had a very good heart. He truly will be missed and I will always cherish the fun times we had when we were younger and our great conversations we had more recently. 

I miss you, our late night talks on the phone, I'm going to miss those alot. Dad
