Nancy Kay Hummel

Nancy was born August 19, 1950 to Warren and Dorothy Hughes and passed away April 27, 2011 at the age of 60.

Nancy was a wonderful wife who was devoted to her husband and family. She loved children and was a caring teacher who left a great influence on many of the lives she touched. Nancy was a joy and delight to all that knew her. She also enjoyed gardening.

Nancy is survived by husband, Jon; mother, Dorothy Mathews; brother, Thomas Hughes; sisters, Vicki Hughes-Franklin and Mary Borroum; nieces, Wendy (James) Dillon, Aubrey Hughes-Otton and Jessica (Elijah) Wallace; nephews, Robert Oakley, Taurin Franklin, Adam Franklin, Thomas Hughes, and Peterson (Jeannie) Borroum.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Frances Park, 2601 Moores River Dr, Lansing. Those desiring may make contributions to Ele’s Place, 1145 W.
