September 30, 2010, Marion joined her Heavenly Father, and was reunited with her loved ones. Marion was born on February 14, 1917 in Haslett.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Dave) Bruder; four grandchildren, Sean (Amy) Lantis, Jonathan (Melissa) Lilje, Rebekah (Stephen) Reeder, Megan Lantis; great-grandchildren, Noah, Gavin, Aliya, Kieran, and Lucy; step-grandchildren, Kimberle Lantis, Shelli (Craig) Massey, and Todd Bruder; step-great-granddaughters, Jessica, Taylor, Mikaela, Taylor, Alaena, and Leah; several nieces and nephews; and special “daughter,” Linda and “granddaughter,” Allison Rockey. Marion was preceded in death by her son Robert (1978); husband, Richard (1988), and daughter Brenda Lilje (1989).
Marion resided in the Haslett/Okemos area most of her life, but also lived in Battle Creek from 1955-1966.
Services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Haslett Community Church, 1427 Haslett Rd, Haslett, with the Rev. Kurt Kirchoff officiating.
