Lynn M. Parker (Ashley), age 64, passed away peacefully at home in Perry, surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 27th, 2017. Lynn was born November 21st, 1952 to Frank and Lorraine Ashley in Cadillac, MI. Being one of six children, Lynn learned at a very early age the importance of sharing; being the middle child taught her how to care for her younger siblings. It was that upbringing that made her into the selfless, caring and patient woman that we all grew to love. Lynn dedicated her life to her five children, Christina, David, Ajah, Abigail, and Analise, her three step daughters, Michelle and Jennifer, who called her mom, and Tiffany, her loving husband Tim, her twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four remaining siblings, Jeffery, Diane, Brian, and Craig, as well as many other loved ones and friends.
She was most well known for her world famous buttermilk pancakes and flautas, her love for traveling, her dedication to maintaining a healthy holistic lifestyle, which she shared with many as her "secret to a youthful appearance". She was
admired for her love and compassion for everyone she came in contact with as well as her undeniable beauty inside and out. To say our lives will forever be changed without her presence is an understatement, but she will forever remain a part of our
hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 3pm at Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing, 230 S. Holmes St, Lansing, MI. 48912. Lynn was an avid believer in many things but most passionate about clean water actions in Michigan, clean organic food opportunities for people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and immunization education. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to any of the following charities in her honor.
