Lynn Ann Jones

Devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. She is survived by Robert, her husband of 41 years; daughters Ashley (Andy) Draybuck and Allison (Griffin) Hickman; parents Harry and Loretta Stumpos; brothers Leslie (Anne) Stumpos, Lane (Meri) Stumpos, sister Laris Stumpos, brother-in-law Larry Jones, sister-in-law Sandra Jones; and grandchildren Cece, Cora, Rowan, Rory and Charlotte, who affectionately knew her as Yia-Yia.

She was born and raised in Bay City before attending MSU. She retired from teaching in Okemos where she touched the lives of many middle schoolers. She was a founding member of St. Martha Parish in Okemos, where she directed the fish fries and craft shows and taught religious ed. She loved to golf, travel, dance, craft, bake, and sit by her pool, but her greatest joy was her five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel.

A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Martha with a one-hour visitation prior.
