Kathleen Henrietta Rock

Died peacefully on January 30, 2015 in Lansing, MI. She was born November 18, 1920 in Ludington, Michigan. Kathleen was preceded in death by brothers Gordon and John Judge. She is survived by daughter Joan (Christopher) Boylan; three grandchildren Nicole (Mehmet) Avci, Jordan Y. (Andrea) Boylan and Christopher J. Boylan; three great grandchildren Kathleen and Jon Avci and Kai H. Boylan; two nieces and four nephews; and one sister, Eleanor Newbold.

Kathleen was a registered nurse and teacher for South Lake Schools, St. Clair Shores, MI for many years. She was an avid reader, golfer, and world traveler, having been to each hemisphere. Kathleen was a caring, gentle and sensitive person. She was the loving heart of her family.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 6, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI with Celebrant Glenn Aittima officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
