Passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born in Detroit, MI to Joseph Farhat, Jr. and Martha. He proudly served in the US Army, received his BS from Michigan State University and Juris Doctorate from Cooley Law School.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Joseph Farhat, Jr.
Surviving is his wife Jennifer of 44 years; daughter Kortney (Chris) Murray of Sarasota, Fl; son Ryan (Carrie) of Chicago, IL; mother Martha (Jim) Swan of Dimondale, MI; two sisters Tanya (Charlie) Struble of Traverse City, MI and Karen Baes of San Diego, CA, also many relatives, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI 48823. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Joseph.
