John Douglas McNaughton, age 87 of Haslett, passed away June 24, 2018 at The Willows of Okemos. He was born February 23, 1931 in Lansing to John and Alta (Hoy) McNaughton.
John graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in January of 1949. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War (1950-1952) and retired from the State of Michigan (Department of Public Health) in 1984.
John is survived by his wife, Loree (Esch) McNaughton; daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Reed and Leanne Norton; step-son, Ronald James “Jim” Pierle and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
It was John’s wish to be cremated with no services to be held.
The family is forever grateful to Residential Living/Hospice and The Willows of Okemos for their caring staffs.
The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, East Lansing.
