Jerry R. Kiser

Jerry R. Kiser, age 86, died September 13, 2014 in Haslett, MI. He was born September 28, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio to Ralph and Edna (Dull) Kiser. Jerry honorably served in the the Korean War. He worked for the MI Department of Transportation for 37 years. He was a devout Spartan fan, loved his Corvette, model cars, and many cats. He enjoyed watching golf and numerous sports on TV which became his fondest and latest activity.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maurine Kiser; and sister, Suzanne Long.

Surviving are his daughter, Debbie (Simon) Reiner of East Lansing; 2 grandchildren, Joey Anna Reiner of Houston, TX and Lance Reiner of Houston, TX.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI from 2-4 PM and 7-8 PM.

The family wishes to thank New Life Assisted Living Center and Heartland Hospice for their special care of Mr. Kiser.
