I am so sorry to hear of Mr. King's passing! He was my favorite teacher!  Prayers to all his family.

As a student, I always looked up to and respected Mr. King, condolences for your loss to the family and loved ones.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jerry. He was one of the kindest and most thoughtful men I've ever met. He was a delight to team teach with at MacDonald. I feel very blessed having known him.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Jerry.  We knew he was ill, but always looked forward with hope to a day when he would be feeling and doing better. I will miss his quiet demeanor, his willingness to help without being intrusive. I will miss his sense of humor, his kindness, his sharing of historical information, and his acceptance of everyone regardless of their station in life. As a former student, I will always remember Mr. King's kindness and patience.  He was a wonderful teacher who touched the lives of so many students over the years.  Thoughts and prayers are with his family.

May you find strength and comfort in the love of family and friends at this difficult time. Jerry was a very special person, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Jerry, your beloved husband, father, grandfather. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. 
Paul and I always appreciated his help when we were traveling in England in 1999. He gave us some good traveling tips, like save your receipts at Harrods, so we didn't have to pay a pound to use the restrooms. Enjoyed the sights of Hyde Park, the museums and traveling to different sites.  Jerry always was so hospitable anytime we visited in Okemos too. 

We share in your sadness and wish we could be there. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing.  I knew him from Sparrow Cardiac Rehab.  He was such a sweet, friendly, and kind gentleman who spoke so lovingly of his grandchildren.  You'll be missed Jerry!

It's been many years since I attended McDonald Middle School, but I remember Mr. King fondly. May you all find some peace and joy in the kind thoughts all of his former students  have for him.

Perhaps they are not stars at all, but rather the light of our loved ones smiling down from heaven to check up on us. 

That which is remembered lives, Jerry.  And, Jan and Kathy, our hearts beat with yours!
