Jennifer Dianne Simpson

Jennifer “Dianne” Simpson (Filter), 75 of Empire MI, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2021. Dianne was a nurse of 50 years and is survived by her brother, Terrance A Filter Ph.D (Georgia); her daughter, Amy M Pohlod Zezulak (Phillip J) and her son, Christopher A Pohlod DO (Angela C); two granddaughters, Sydney Renee and Erin Elizabeth Pohlod and step-children, Elizabeth R Simpson and John M Simpson. She also leaves behind two dear friends Polly Pulos and Sharon Kinzel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Timothy (Tim) Simpson Esq. and her parents, Donald Francis Filter and Elizabeth Anderson Filter.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, September 10, 2021 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Traverse City, with visitation from 2:00-3:00pm.
