Janice graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as 2 Master Degrees in Adult & Continuing Education and Community Services.
Janice enjoyed gardening, crafts, shopping for good deals and spending time with family and friends. She was an activist for Women’s rights, specifically single mothers.
She is survived by her children; Christine (David) Goodpaster, Angelina Metz, Matthew Mashon, Kimberly (Brett) Emery, and Martin Mashon; grandchildren, Jonathon Mashon, Wayne Potts, Sarah and Daniel Goodpaster, Joseph Emery, Juliana Mashon; siblings, Rosemary (Robert) Wooley, Margaret Keel, John (Sharon) McGehee, and Mike (Rita) McGehee.
Preceded in death by parents, mother and stepfather, Nellie and Lester Drum: Father Anthony Perruzzi. Brother Louis Peruzzi and her twin sister Susan Ruane, who passed in March.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 22nd from 11am – 2pm at the home of her daughter, Kimberly, 13189 Angle Road, Bath, MI 48808.
