Frederick “Fred” R. Robinson, of East Lansing, formerly of Lansing, passed away June 30, 2018. He was born September 25, 1932 in Lansing, Michigan to Harold and Margaret Robinson. Fred was a veteran of the Korean War as an Air Force Senior Photographer. His life’s work was at Capital City Blue Print, Inc. in Lansing, where he retired in 2003 after 40 years. He was a very loving and caring person to family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat”; daughters, Teresa (Shawn) Cox, Lisa Meluis, and Anita (Jim) Elsener; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edie Robinson; many nieces and nephews; step-son, Terry Herig; stepchildren, Peggy (Tom) McGuinness, Anne (Bill) Truax, Greg (Mary) Kueppers, Kevin (Shelly Rittenhouse) Kueppers, Julie (Mark) Cox; 15 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Grace Metzinger; parents; brothers, Harold, George, and Roger Robinson; and step-son, Paul Kueppers.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice of Lansing or St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
