It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Eric William King, age 61, at Sparrow Hospital, December 13, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Melody for 41 years; devoted father to son, Lee (Laura), and cherished grandfather of Matthew and William. He is also survived by his mother, Irene Nydahl; sister, Nancy (Ron) Reame; and brother, Marc. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Marc Sr., Stepfather, Peter Nydahl and stepbrother, Peter. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 16, 12:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing.
