Elizabeth Anne Haga age 82 passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born in Mitchell, Indiana on February 6, 1935 the daughter of Irene (Cole) and William Dwinell."Beth" graduated from Lansing Eastern High School Class of 1953, A voracious reader, she would tote her 5 daughters to East Lansing Public Library every Saturday where hours were spent choosing books for the week ahead. She worked as a secretary for the State of Michigan for over 30 years and lived a quiet, yet remarkable life raising 5 daughters on her own with strength, style, and grace. She was the glue that held the family together, artsy and creative she had a flair for making every holiday special. In retirement, she traveled abroad with family to places she had spent years reading about. She is survived by her daughters: Julie (Bill) Boettcher, Lisa Jones, Amy (Doug) Barcy, Jill (Mitch) Dejonge, and Sara (Scott) Murray; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her sister Sharon (John) Billeter and 6 nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her, but will live in our hearts forever. A private celebration of her life will be held in the spring. For those who wish, a memorial contribution can be made to Sparrow Hospice, Haven House of East Lansing or Old Newsboys. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman East Lansing.
