Carol was born in Elmhurst, Illinois and grew up in the Chicago area surrounded by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins in her large extended family. She attended Maria High school, an all girls Catholic school in Chicago and met Chuck while working in the City. They married and started their family before a job change for Chuck brought them to Michigan.
Carol enjoyed raising their four children, volunteering at school, church and in the community before returning to the workforce as a Hearing Assistant with the Social Security administration. She worked for the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals for over 20 years before retiring in 2005. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed many years hosting family holidays, traveling with family and vacationing with friends. She also enjoyed volunteering in the community in retirement.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband Charles Pearl. She is survived by her four children Tim (Tami) Pearl, Caryn (Matt) Rhodes, Scott (Karyn) Pearl, David Pearl and Grandchildren Justin and Collin Pearl, Kate, Alison, and Danny Rhodes, Meghan Pearl and Jason Pridgeon.
