Arlene Joyce Taylor, age 80, died December 9, 2013. She was born May 23, 1933 in Lansing, MI to Herbert and Lavinia (Potter) Horton.

She enjoyed decorating for the holiday, spending time with her family, sewing and doing crafts, and was an excellent cook. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings

Surviving to cherish here memory are her loving husband of 62 years, George C. Taylor; 3 children, Michael (Deborah) Taylor, Patricia (John) Lorraine, and David (Julie) Taylor; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Princess. Arlene will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Pennway Church of God, 1101 Cavanaugh, Lansing, MI with the Rev. Dr. John F. Davey officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends Friday 5-8 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI and Saturday at the church from 10-11 AM.
