He taught 10 years in Iran. He was Dean of the College of Agriculture for two years at Jundishapur University in Ahvaz, Iran. Professor Ghaderi then transferred to the Industrial University of Isfahan for two years until coming to the USA at the height of the revolution due to concerns for his American family.
He was hired as a bean breeder at MSU. He had 30 publications during his career.
He also taught “Computer Application in Statistics.” In March of 1984 he was in a serious auto accident.
Dr. Ghaderi is survived by sons, Shahob John Ghaderi and Roger Jamshid Ghaderi and sisters, Atieh and Soraya. His brother, Faramarz preceded him in death.
He was born in Sahneh and raised in Kermanshah, Iran. His father was Rostam Ghaderi and his mother was Taji Mohammad-Alian.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
