Ann "Annie" Marie Jasonowicz (née Yungfer), aged 34, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Lovango St. John, Virgin Islands. Born on August 2, 1989, in Lansing, Michigan, she was a beloved elementary school teacher at Murphy Elementary in Haslett, Michigan, where she dedicated herself to nurturing young minds with kindness and patience.
Annie graduated with the highest honors from Western Michigan University and obtained a Master's degree in Education Administration with principal endorsement, following her earlier education at St. Thomas Aquinas School and Lansing Catholic High School. Her academic achievements were a testament to her diligent and dedicated nature.
Annie was happiest when traveling with her husband, Kevin. She also cherished her time spent in Leland, Michigan with family and friends. Her kind, loving nature made her a cherished figure not only within her family but also within her community.
Annie is survived by her husband, Kevin; siblings, Julie Anderson (Jesson) and Andrea Janes (Kevin); parents, Timothy and MaryAnn Yungfer; lifelong friend, Susanne Crippen (Border); nieces and nephews Carter Reynolds, Kristina Faulds, Ethan Simmons, Hayden Faulds, Carson and Liam Janes; parent-in-laws Mark and Marilyn Jasonowicz; sister-in-law Kailyn Jasonowicz; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her warmth, generosity, and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by her students and all who knew her.
