Amelia Sinco Guzman

Amelia "Tating" Sinco Guzman passed away on February 23, 2023 in her home in East Lansing with her husband Jose (Chingky) at her side. They had a loving marriage of 53 years. Amelia was educated and lived most of her life in East Lansing. She graduated with a Master's in Communication Arts from Michigan State University. She had a ten year career with then First of America Bank as VP Manager in Residential Mortgage Loans.

Amelia immigrated to the United States in 1969 from the Philippines. She was an avid golfer, loved playing the piano and traveling. She supported and was part of the local Philippine community. Her family would like to thank Emily, RN from Corsocare Hospice for her support during this difficult time and Nancy, Grace, Carrie, and Josie for their personal care so she was able to spend her last days in the home she had loved and built.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 955 Alton Rd, East Lansing, with visitation from 10:30 am until the time of Mass. A livestream of the Mass can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/@OutreachMass
