Amanda Rose Lahti, 42, born in Lansing, Michigan on June 21, 1978 to James and Margaret Diller of Grand Ledge, passed away December 27, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Amanda is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Russell Lahti; her three children who meant the world to her, Aili, Ava, and Aiden; her brother Matthew Diller; her father James Diller; her grandmother Rose Alfonso; loving in-laws; nieces, Emmaline, Weaver, and Niilo; nephews Uriah, and Logan; an expansive extended family and a host of long-time friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Diller.
Amanda earned an Associate Degree in Child Development and Early Education from Lansing Community College. She worked at Fantastic Sams, and at Haslett Child Development Center before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker. Through her several diagnoses and treatments for various cancers, she remained optimistic and determined to live life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her children, going on vacations, and catching up with family and friends.
A Memorial Service / Celebration of Remembrance will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to Living LFS (https://livinglfs.org/donate/) or The Li-Fraumeni Syndrome Association (https://www.lfsassociation.org/donate/) will be greatly appreciated.
