Sydney was a vibrant and vivacious individual who brought joy to all those around her. She had a passion for life and approached everything she did with dedication and hard work. Her intelligence and generosity were unmatched, and her sense of humor always brought smiles to people's faces. Sydney's stunning presence and gracious nature made her someone that others were naturally drawn to. She was an impactful and creative individual who inspired others with her courage and fearlessness.
In her educational pursuits, Sydney excelled. She graduated from Bolton High School in 2018 and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Stonehill College in 2022. Currently, she was pursuing her Masters in Speech/Language Pathology at Emerson College. After achieving her Masters, Sydney’s goal was to pursue her doctorate in Audiology.
Sydney's career was marked by her passion for helping others. She worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at New London Public Schools and also shared her talents at Motta's Bakery in Columbia. She made a positive impact on the lives of many through her work.
Outside of her career, Sydney had a variety of hobbies and interests. She was artistically talented. She loved attending country, pop and Latina music concerts. She was handy with tools and could build or fix almost anything. Sydney was a voracious reader, a skilled soccer player, and had a special connection with animals, earning her the title of "Dog Whisperer". She especially loved her four-legged friends, Bailey, Ham, Sophie and Oliver.
Sydney is survived by her beloved mother, Jennifer Migliore Ledoux of Bolton and her partner, Wesley Sargent; her sister, Sierra Ledoux (Haley) of Worcester, MA; her father, Glenn Ledoux and step-mother, Danielle of Tolland, CT; her step-brother, Cameron and half-brother, Austin; her grandmother, Rebeca Garcia of Palmetto, FL; her grandfather, Jack Migliore of Manchester, CT; her uncle, Jeffrey Migliore of East Hartford, CT; and countless cousins and friends.
A celebration of Sydney's life will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester, CT. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Monday morning. Burial will be private.
