Rose J Dolan

Our dear mother, Rose Dolan, 100 years young, of Glastonbury, passed away on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital. Rose was born on July 25th, 1922 in East Hartford to the late Diamond and Luca Palumbo. She was employed as a Property Manager in East Hartford for 50 years. She married Andrew Dolan in 1942, and they made their home in East Hartford, and she cherished time spent with family. She will be most remembered for her feisty spirit. Rose is survived by her sister Manny, her two daughters: Patricia LeMay and her partner Jim Raymond of Somers, and Carol Klemyk and her husband Richard of Columbia; five grandchildren and several great grand-children. Rose was predeceased by her husband Andrew, and her brother Bill. Rose’s family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Home Health Aides; for their wonderful care and their many acts of kindness and support during her illness. A brief gathering prior to Church for Rose will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, Connecticut 06108. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St Rose's Church, 33 Church St., East Hartford, CT 06108. A Committal Service will occur Friday, January 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Cemetery, Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108.
